We Mikasa was established in 1917. Since then, we have contributed to the creation of a prosperous society through sporting goods such as athletic balls, which are well known and trusted around the world under the "MIKASA" brand, and industrial rubber products such as water-lubricated bearings and rubber linings for the propeller shafts, which are indispensable for ships and various infrastructure supporting society.

Especially in recent years, we have been working toward overseas development of water-lubricated bearings and other stern tube equipment, and we decided to have a booth to promote them in Korea. We expect that shipowners and shipyards will recognize our environmentally friendly/fuel-efficient water-lubricated bearings and improve their understanding of our emissions and high-quality products.

One of our main products is FF-Bearing, which means Friction-Free Bearing. FF-Bearing consists of three layers Copper Metal, Rubber, and Resin. FF-Bearing, which takes advantage of the elasticity that is a feature of rubber bearings and has a sliding surface made of resin, has 1/8 the frictional resistance of conventional rubber bearings, resulting in less energy loss and greatly reducing fuel consumption. It is a bearing that contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions, the main cause of global warming.
