3. Please introduce the exhibit items you are going to promote at the show.
1. Class Survey
KR’s class survey regime aims to help our customers register their vessels and operate them in a safe and responsible way throughout their service life. Vessels under our service program benefit from all class surveys being carried out by experienced KR surveyors stationed across the globe. KR has also been awarded 'Recognized Organization' status by the governments of many major shipping nations. This allows us to conduct statutory surveys on their behalf and to certify compliance with international maritime codes and conventions.
Based on our accumulated technical expertise, we also provide technical services for international certification, energy & environment, research & development, and naval vessels.
2. GHG Emission, Authentic Reporting System, KR GEARs
Launched by KR in 2019, KR GEARs has been supporting shipping companies and operators to efficiently manage their fleet's GHG emissions data and remain compliant with tightening GHG regulations.
Scenarios and reports are generated as each condition is selected, such as sailing speed, fuel type, operational measures, and installation of energy-saving devices. A new CII Simulator feature automatically calculates and predicts the ships’ CO2 emissions and CII reduction effects, allowing shipping companies to manage their fleets more flexibly.
3. XR-based digital training solution, KR-Real360
KR-Real360 is an XR (eXtended Reality) based digital service platform for ship survey and familiarization training. By using a digital ship implemented in 360-degree virtual reality, trainees can vividly see the actual structure of the ship, the shape and arrangement of equipment, and learn about ship inspection methods, inspection requirements, and operating methods at any time through information markers placed on the virtual ship. We use KR-Real360 to train our own surveyors and internal staff and we offer a customization service of the program to train of our customers' seafarers.
