Exhibitor Interview - K.C.

1. Please introduce your company.

K.C. Ltd. has devoted itself to design and production of Cathodic protection, Anti-fouling and such relevant equipments. With Prominent quality and numerous supply references K.C.Ltd. is well known to worldwide famous shipping and shipbuilding companies.
Also with thanks to the continued and valuable orders derived by the ceaseless R&D for high quality products and the best services beyond warranty K.C. ltd. erected excellent financing stand on no liability.
All managing board and employees are proud of keeping the most qualified men power inside company and a good trust form our customers in the world.

2. What brings you to KORMARINE 2023?

It is the largest domestic marine exhibition where domestic and foreign shipyards and shipowners can meet in one place. It is a great opportunity to meet them directly and provide information about our products, which is difficult to do due to time constraints. We expect that our customers' satisfaction will increase by attending regularly and providing explanations about our products. Therefore, we never miss this opportunity to participate in the exhibition.

3. Please introduce the exhibit items you are going to promote at the show.

1.    The world best system for Cathodic Protection

CATHSYS - It has been designed based on the total wetted surface area of hull including surface of rudder/propeller and mean current density. The protective current on this design is automatically controlled and dissipated through anodes for the optimum potential (around 220mV) measured by ref. electrodes. Our ICCP System is well known to the world wide clients at following features.

- AUTO / MANUAL Mode

- Very easy and convenient operating and access by 4.3” TFT Touch screen LCD Display

- Easily connected with ship's automation monitoring system by RS485 communication- Data download is applicable by USB

CATHSED - It protects propeller and prevents the excessive wear of main engine metal bearings by reducing potential difference between shaft and hull. And the potential value and alarm signal of millivolt meter could be transfered to vessel’s AMS. We guarantee our high density low resistance silver graphite brushes will last 1 year at least under normal operation.

2.       The world best system for Anti-fouling

1) ANFOSYS (Electric anode type) – optimized for less flowrate below 5,000m3/h

It has been designed based on total sea water flowrate and lifetime. Our Anti-fouling System has been developed to prevent the adhesion of marine fouling to the sea water service lines by using Cu++ ion producing from Copper anode and anti-corrosive layer of Al(OH)3 producing from aluminium anode.

Our Anti-fouling System is well known to the world wide clients at following features.

-Capable of auto current change acc to 2 or 3 step flow operation

-Touch screen controller is applicable

-Low installation/maintenance costs and Safe

-Environment-friendly with normal 2ppb (parts per billion) dosing rate of copper ion

-Very convenient operation on easy and sophisticated controller

-Data communication and alarm signal can be connected to ship’s AMS

-Simple installation to all kinds of new building as well as retrofitting ships

 2) ECHLOSYS(Chlorination type) – optimized for more flowrate above 5,000m3/h

This system is designed to prevent the adhesion of marine growth to the internal pipe line of ships through the chemical reaction of chlorine compounds which are produced through the electrolyzation of sea water.

Chlorine is a well known toxicant. It has been shown that 0.2 to 0.5 PPM of continuous chlorination will prevent all marine fouling in time. Higher than 0.5 PPM might produce the corrosion of the metallic piping, and other metallic Equipment.

A trace residual discharge will insure the killing of all fouling organisms in a sea water system when constant chlorination is employed. It should be emphasized that constant chlorination is the best method for safe and efficient fouling and bacteria control.
